  2. Better Than Sex Cake Number 4

  7. Ingredients:
  8. 1 package Duncan Hines        3/4 cup pecans, toasted and
  9. Chocolate Butter Cake mix or  then chopped
  10. Deep Chocolate Cake mix
  11. 12 ounces semisweet           1 (4-ounce) package instant
  12. chocolate chips               chocolate pudding mix
  13. 1 cup sour cream              4 large eggs
  14. 1/2 cup oil                   1/4 cup water, or part
  15.                               coffee
  16. 1 teaspoon vanilla            1 recipe Dark Chocolate
  17.                               Glaze (follows)

  19. Instructions:
  20. Grease well and flour a tube, bundt, or 13 by 9 by 1-1/2
  21. inch cake pan.  For tube or bundt pan, have oven rack in
  22. lowest position.  For cake pan, put rack in center of oven.
  23. Preheat
  24. oven to 350 degrees F.
  25. Coat nuts and chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon of the cake
  26. mix and set aside.  Combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour
  27. cream, eggs, oil, water, and vanilla and beat at medium
  28. speed with mixer for 3 minutes.
  29. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.  Turn into pan and bake
  30. for 1 hour or until cake tests done with cake tester.  Cool
  31. for 15 minutes and if tube or bundt pan is used, turn onto a
  32. rack.  Cake should be completely cool before glazing.  Cake
  33. freezes well without glaze.

  35. Better Than Sex Cake Number 4: Dark Chocolate Glaze
  36. Ingredients:
  37. 1 lb. semi-sweet choc. chips  1 cup water
  38. 1 tsp. vanilla                
  39.  
  40. Instructions:
  41. Combine 1 pound semisweet chocolate chips with 1 cup water
  42. in top of double boiler over simmering water.  Stir until
  43. smooth, shiny, and well blended.  Remove from heat and stir
  44. in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Cool to room temperature or chill
  45. until slightly thickened. Pour over cake or apply with a
  46. spatula.
